  • You must be a resident of the United States.
  • The information you provide must be accurate and complete.

We reserve the right to request government-issued identification or documentation to verify your age and identity at any time.

3. Nature of Services and Donations

  • We are a nonprofit under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
  • All donations are voluntary and non-refundable.
  • No goods or services are provided in exchange for donations.
  • Donations support our mission and activities described on the Site.

4. User Accounts

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms.

12. SMS and Email Communications

By providing your phone number or email address when creating an account or interacting with Robotus, you consent to receive transactional communications from us, including security verification codes, account notifications, and important service-related updates (“Communications”).

SMS Messaging Terms:

  • Opt-In: Users opt in by registering at https://robotus.org and verifying their phone number.
  • Message Purpose: Robotus sends only transactional and security-related messages, such as one-time passcodes (OTPs) or account alerts. No marketing or promotional content will ever be sent.
  • Message Frequency: Typically 1–3 messages per day, depending on account activity. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any Robotus message to stop receiving further SMS communications. You will receive one final confirmation message stating that no further messages will be sent.
  • Help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at support@robotus.org.
  • Privacy: Your phone number and messaging data are used only to provide this Communication Service and will never be sold or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

Email Communications Terms:

  • Purpose: By verifying your email address, you agree to receive transactional and security-related emails from Robotus, such as verification codes and account alerts. These messages are essential for account security and are not promotional.
  • Opt-Out: You may not opt out of essential security emails unless you delete your account.
  • Cost: We do not charge for messages, but your carrier or internet provider may apply standard message or data rates.
